NTPC CenPEEP Conferred International Gold Star award

Centre for Power Efficiency & Environmental Protection of NTPC Limited has been conferred ‘International Gold Star for Quality Award 2009’ in recognition of outstanding commitment to Quality, Excellence and Leadership contributing towards the success for India in the business world.

The award is recognition of the pro active work carried out by NTPC for environmental protection by setting up Centre for Power Efficiency and Environmental Protection. In the past as well, NTPC-CenPEEP has received two international awards.

The Award was presented at International Quality Convention Geneva 2009’ organized by Business Initiative Directions. The Award was received by Mr DK Agrawal GM of CenPEEP on behalf of NTPC.

The objective of this Award is to recognize the commitment of awarded companies to quality. 40 Countries from Europe, America, Africa, Asia, the Far East and Middle East received the Star Awards in Geneva 2009 Convention.

Business Initiative Directions is a leading organization of Europe focused on promoting the quality culture. The International B.I.D. Award for Quality has been instituted over 20 years back covering over 100 countries.
