It is reported that one of Chinese major producers has offered USD 480 per tonne CFR for its end December shipment to South Korea. Yet, South Korean importers still hold a wait and see attitude for the moment.
Industry insiders noted that "Steel demand remains to be weak in South Korea and the inventory is piling up highly there meanwhile. Besides, import price of HRC may also fall in the future hence, it is dangerous to import for the moment."
