Business Standard quoted diversified conglomerate Siemens’s energy unit has bagged an order worth INR 608 crore from Qatar's General Electricity & Water Corporation for constructing high voltage cables.

Siemens said that the company's energy division has received an order worth INR 608 crore for complete supply, design, erection, testing and commissioning of high voltage cables.

The order is to be completed over a period of 2 years. Siemens is engaged in the businesses of turbines, medical equipment, power plants, automation controls and lighting equipment.
