MMK completes repairs of section mill 450

It is reported that Russian steel mill Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works has announced that it has completed repairs and restarted operations at its section mill 450.
The repair works in question included the replacement of the internal lining of the mill's reheating furnace and the checking, repairing and replacement of the mill mechanical equipment. Such repairs were also carried out in July and August at MMK light section mill 370 and at its wire mill 170.
MMK section mill 450, commissioned in July 2005 has an annual production capacity of 788,000 tonne of about 90 types of sections, including angles, channels, round and hexahedron steel bars and others.
