It is estimated that China Steel Corporation will release its price for January and February 2010 and will probably leave the price unchanged or go up slightly.

However, downstream users complained that CSC price had been high and they had encountered the difficulty in receiving the orders.

The sources from CSC said that with the rebounding Chinese steel price and recovery of demand from the US and EU.

In the first quarter of 2010, CSC tended to increase the price slightly. The users who make the CRC and other processing reckoned that because CSC had not cut the December price enough, they suffered a drop in receiving the orders. The users said that CSC should take their survival into consideration.
