Mehr News Agency reported that concentrated coal production in Iran from March to October reached about 700,000 tonnes.
Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization said that 1.1 million tonnes of coal was excavated during this period. 355,000 tonnes of the concentrated coal was produced by Kerman Coal Mines Company, 191,000 tonnes by Eastern Alborz Coal Mines Company, 47,000 tonnes by Central Alborz Coal Company and 104 tonnes by other firms.
The amount of coal excavated by each company include 501,000 tonnes by Kerman Coal Mines Company, 371,000 tonnes by Eastern Alborz Coal Mines Company, 77,000 tonnes by Central Alborz Coal Company and 160,000 tonnes by other companies.
