China Metallurgical News reported that Hebei based Iron & Steel Group Corporation Tangshan Steel Co Ltd exerts great efforts to explore new markets amid severe market situations.

According to report, recently the company has received long term orders of HRB 500 hi strength rebars used in Beijing to Shanghai high speed railway construction projects.

Beijing to Shanghai high speed railway, national key project with largest scale investments and highest technology content is also the first world class advanced high speed railway in China. HRB 500, with high strength and good performance of toughness may save 28% and 16% steel respectively compared with that of HRB335 and HRB400, which were welcomed by its customers.
