It is reported that Baotou Iron & Steel Co Ltd gas plant, thermal power plant and coking plant all won the integrated resources utilization authentication certificate from the Economic Commission of Inner Mongolia due to which Baotou Steel, a 10 million tonnes per year steelmaker in North China and the largest rare earth producer in the world, became entitled to enjoy CNY 80 million of value added tax deduction per year in the following two years.

As per report, the items related to the authentication certificate included Baosteel’s TRT in gas plant, CCPP in thermal power plant, No 8 & 9 top gas boilers and the sulfur products after desulphurization in coking plant.
