Ukraine gas transportation system not to be privatized - Ms Timoshenko

Itar-Tass cited Ms Yulia Timoshenko Prime Minister of Ukraine as saying that she would not allow the national gas transportation system to be privatized.
She said that “I will not allow our gas transportation system to be privatized or any international consortiums to be created because this is our national wealth that should remain the property of Ukraine at all times.”
Ms Timoshenko said all such speculations are prompted solely by the presidential election campaign.
