Arc Minerals Ltd said that it has started its 7,500 meter drilling program on the Zamsort and Zaco copper projects in the Copperbelt province in Zambia. The gold, cobalt and gold explorer has already appointed a local drilling contractor and two diamond drill rigs have started operations. The program will test the large Cheyeza anomaly as well as the Lumbeta and Muswema targets in addition to other targets generated through a geophysical survey and soil sampling program.

Executive Chair Mr Nick von Schrinding, said that "We are very excited about this drilling program. Over the past year our technical team with the help of highly experienced external exploration consultants have completed a detailed geophysical survey and extensive soil sampling program which has yielded some excellent results indicating that we may have a number of high-potential prospects within our Zamsort licence."
