ASI Certifies China’s Aluminium Foil Producer SNTO

The Aluminium Stewardship Initiative announced the certification of China’s aluminium foil producer Suntown Technology Group Corporation Limited to the ASI Performance Standard. The firm, which is based in Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, Changsha, is the latest firm to achieve ASI’s certification, which measures responsible production, sourcing, and stewardship in the aluminium-production process.

Ms Fiona Solomon, ASI’s Chief Executive Officer said that “ASI congratulates SNTO on its ASI Performance Standard certification, and for achieving another important milestone in the company’s fast pace of development and growth. We are excited to see the inclusion of aluminium recycling in SNTO’s ASI Certification, the first such facility in China to achieve this. Given the dynamic nature of SNTO and its commitment to innovation and sustainability, we look forward to seeing them continue their ASI certification journey.”

Li Ruishi, SNTI’s CEO, said that “The certification represents another step in the company’s journey to responsible aluminium production. In the process of development, SNTO has been steadfastly implementing the strategies of energy saving, emission reduction, low carbon and environmental protection to build a green enterprise.
