Bowen Coking Coal Ltd announced a further update to the outcome of the Mineral Resource estimate in accordance with the JORC Code (2012) for its 100% owned Cooroorah Coking Coal Project (MDL 453), located between Coronado Global Resources' Curragh mine and the Anglo, Marubeni and Sojitz owned Jellinbah mine in the Bowen Basin, Central Queensland.

Following a review and validation of the regional historic drilling results, the Company obtained data which demonstrates the extension of the Mammoth and Pollux seams into the Northern area of the tenement. The total Mineral Resource estimate is now estimated at 177Mt, of which 96Mt (54%) is classified as Indicated and 81Mt (46%) as Inferred, of which the Mammoth seam is now estimated to be a total of 60Mt, comprising 38Mt as Indicated and 22Mt as Inferred.

Final "clean coal" quality data from the recently completed exploration program is consistent with the outcome for the Mammoth seam from the Company's earlier 2017/18 program, which suggested a high-quality coking coal (3.5% ash, CSN 8-9, 0.4% Sulphur') with a secondary high energy Low Volatile PCI product (7,560 kcal/kg) at a combined laboratory yield of circa 90%..
