Bowen Coking Coal Ltd announced the raw coal quality results of the final two holes following the successful completion of the 2019 drilling program at its 100% owned Isaac River Coking Coal Project, located immediately to the East of BHP Mitsubishi Alliance's Daunia Mine in the Bowen Basin, Central Queensland. The raw coal quality results for holes PPD003PC and PPD005PC have been received and are consistent with the exceptional results of those previously reported. The previously untested Vermont Upper seam displays very good coking coal characteristics, capable of producing a low ash, high CSN coking coal.

As predicted, the lower section of the thick Leichhardt seam demonstrated significantly better coal properties than the top section and those indicated by the historic data which, subject to washabilities, could also support a high quality coking coal fraction. Washability tests are underway and are expected to be completed in 4 to 6 weeks, whilst high level quality analysis from the Vermont Upper 3, Vermont Lower and Girrah seams is also proceeding in parallel. Work has already commenced to incorporate the latest exploration outcomes into the Resource Estimate in accordance with the JORC code.
