Iberdrola has connected the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm to the British power grid, which, with 714 MW of installed capacity, will be the largest offshore wind farm in the world, after its entry into operation in 2020. The first of the 102 East Anglia ONE wind turbines is already supplying electricity to the park's ground substation, located in the town of Burstall. The Iberdrola group through its UK subsidiary ScottishPower Renewables has installed 25 turbines throughout the summer and will gradually connect them to the network.

Located in the North Sea about 50 kilometers off the coast of the English county of Suffolk it has an investment of 2.5 billion pounds and is 60% owned by the Iberdrola group and 40% by Green Investment Group from the Macquarie group.
