Indonesia May Cut Domestic Coal Condition to 20%

Reuters reported that Indonesia Energy Ministry official Mr Dodik Ariyanto said that Indonesia is considering lowering the minimum quantity of coal required to be sold to domestic buyers to 20 per cent of the production from the current 25 per cent as coal miners are struggling to meet the requirements.

Around 124 million tonnes of coal were estimated to be sold to local buyers this year, compared with 128 million tonnes of target
