JSW Cement invests in improving delivery time and customer operations in WB

UNI reported that JSW Cement in a bid to improve customer operations and strengthen its eastern India markets has further invested in wagon tipplers to manage inbound logistics. The company now owns a fleet of trucks to facilitate transportation of cement to its distributors across West Bengal. It has also dedicated railway rakes for ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and transportation of finished goods, thereby ensuring the quickest time from order to delivery. The company has also set up a captive power plant in Salboni to achieve better efficiency and uninterrupted power supply, said an official of the company.

Over the past year, JSW Cement has expanded its presence to serve customers across all the 23 districts of West Bengal with distribution network of 3700 dealers and retailers for its Salbonv factory.
