Ogilvie Breaks Ground for 283 Flats in Wellheads Road in Scotland

Ogilvie Construction has broken ground on a new GBP 30 million initiative to build 283 new flats in Wellheads Road in Dyce for Aberdeen City Council. The development will comprise of a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom apartments across four buildings, each constructed to a height of five storeys. The buildings are positioned to create linear green open spaces with outdoor seating and two children’s play areas. The initiative is part of the biggest local authority housebuilding programme in Aberdeen in more than 50 years which aims to deliver an additional 2,000 council homes for the region.

Mr Donald MacDonald Managing Director of Ogilvie Construction said that “We are proud to be working with Aberdeen City Council to deliver new housing that will provide a quality environment for future residents and the local community. The new homes will be constructed to the highest quality using modern, sustainable materials.”
