ORIX begins construction of Yamaguchi Solar Power Plant

ORIX Corporation announced that it has commenced construction on the OR Yamaguchi Mine Solar Power Plant, a large-scale solar power plant (mega-solar) with a maximum output of 56.4 MW (56,422 kW), in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It will be the largest of all the mega-solar power plants developed and operated by ORIX. The power plant will be established on a site measuring approximately 116 ha, owned by Mine environment Promotion Co., Ltd. in Nishiatsucho, Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Operations are scheduled to commence in October 2021.
