Russian steel giant Severstal has decided to finance the construction of an internal air terminal at the airport complex of Cherepovets. The project is part of a program to replace the existing Severstal fleet with 100-seat Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft for a total cost of 12.6 billion rubles. The event involves the construction of a one-story terminal building with an area of 1044 square meters. meter. The terminal will be equipped with modern inspection equipment, conveyor belts, passenger check-in desks, visual information and warning systems. The project cost is more than 160 million rubles.

Employees of the Investment Directorate coordinate the project, part of the Severstal Russian Steel division. To date, survey design work has been completed and a state examination of the project has been carried out. In the near future it is planned to hold a tender to select a general contractor.
