In the Sevmash hull-processing shop, work has begun on metal cutting for the manufacture of structural parts for one of the blocks of the support base of the ice-resistant stationary platform LSP A, which is being built for the development of the Kamennomysskoye gas field. In total, it is planned to process about 7 thousand tons of metal. The contract is for one year. Work on the manufacture of parts and sections of the hull structures of the platform will be carried out in three workshops - hull-processing, hull-welding and slipway shops 42. In addition, a contract for detailed design has been concluded with the Korall design bureau in Sevastopol and the Sevmash design bureau will issue a working documentation for the main hull structures of the platform support base unit. Other enterprises of the United Shipbuilding Corporation are also involved in the manufacturing process of LSP A. The general contractor for the manufacture of the superblock is Zvezdochka CS.

The Kamennomysskoye-more field was discovered in 2000 on the shelf of the Ob Bay. The field is located in its water area and is named after the village of Cape Kamenny. Natural gas reserves are about 550 billion cubic meters. To resist ice, the base of the drilling platform will be tapered. The length of the platform for the Kamennomysskoye-Sea project will be 135 meter, width - 69 meter.
