Kazakhstan's oil output rises 6.2pct in H1 2018 - Mr Bozumbayev

Reuters cited Energy Minister Mr Kanat Bozumbayev as saying that Kazakhstan's oil output rose 6.2 per cent YoY in the first half of 2018 to 45.2 million tonnes. Output at Tengizchevroil, owned by Chevron, ExxonMobil, Lukoil and KazMunayGaz was 14.7 million tonnes.

The giant Kashagan field, developed by Eni, ExxonMobil, CNPC, Shell, Total, Inpex and KazMunayGaz, produced 6.2 million tonnes.

The Karachaganak field, operated by a consortium led by Shell and Eni, produced 6.3 million tonnes.
