Construction Starts on Russian Pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai

Ground has been broken on Expo 2020 Dubai’s next level Russia Pavilion, with the spherical structure set to cover an area spanning 4,562.7m2 and will be 27 metres-high. Set to be located with the World Expo’s Mobility District, Russian pavilion has been designed by architects Tchoban Speech and Simpateca Entertainment Group.

Most of the façade elements will be manufactured using the latest technologies many of which will be used for the first time in the construction of such engineering structures.

The ground breaking ceremony was also attended by the UAE's minister of state for international cooperation and director-general of Expo 2020 Dubai, HE Reem Al Hashimy.
