A solemn ceremony of laying down an ice-class border patrol ship was held at United Shipbuilding Corporation’s Vyborg shipyard. The ship will be built according to the design of the Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau, one of the leading Russian design bureaus. The ship has a high ice class, modern weapons, a high class of automation and a high level of crew comfort, which will allow it to carry out year-round service in the Arctic seas of Russia.

It will be equipped with equipment for the delivery of goods, and the powerful load will allow it to carry out service and provide a cruising range of up to 12 thousand miles. Good conditions for the crew that will be created on this ship, high autonomy will make it possible to solve problems for a long period
