Canada continues to impose AD duty o Chinese aluminum extrusion

Metal News - Published on Sat, 22 Mar 2014

Recently, the Canadian International Trade arbitral tribunal keeps a continuation of a 2009 ruling, which means continuing to impose anti dumping and cover aluminum tariffs to cushion a price advantage of foreign manufacturers for Canadian manufacturers.

Aluminum extrusion is mainly used in automobile parts, household appliances and other consumer products, sports equipment, furniture and door frames, rails, bridges and other structures and other building materials.

Canadian International Trade Arbitration is an independent quasi-judicial tribunal, by the Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance) report to Congress. The arbitral tribunal accepts complaints of dumping and subsidized imports and defends the complaint.
