Adriatic Metals has announced that it has received assay results from several drill holes from the programme at Rupice in Bosnia and Herzegovina. CEO of Adriatic, Geraint Harris said “Our focus in early 2019 will be to extend the high-grade zones to the north and south-east and also to improve our understanding of the system between Rupice North and Jurasevac-Brestic. At Rupice we will declare a maiden resource estimate in the first half of this year. Also, metallurgical, geo- technical and hydro-geological studies are underway, which will feed into a scoping study, the exploitation permit application and ultimately a feasibility study. We look forward to a busy, and successful 2019.”

Hole BR-36-18 drilled to test the down-dip extent of mineralization intersected in BR-3-18 returned: 72m at 18.3 percent zinc, 10.7 percent lead, 211 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 2.5 g/t gold, 2.5 percent copper, and 25 percent barium sulfate from 206m.

Hole BR-25-18 drilled to the south of historic hole BR-76-89 in an area previously untested, returned: 46m at 12.7 percent zinc, 9.6 percent lead, 309 g/t silver, 4.1g/t gold, 1.0 percent copper, and 40 percent barium sulfate from 218m.

Hole BR-32-18 drilled 35m to the west of BR-25-18 in an area previously untested intersected two mineralized lenses, the lower one returned: 20m at 8.2 percent zinc, 5.6 percent lead, 479 g/t silver, 4.1 g/t gold, 0.5 percent copper, and 60 percent barium sulfate from 228m.

Hole BR-33-18 drilled 25m to the east of BR-25-18 in an area previously untested intersected two mineralized lenses, the lower one returned: 36m at 4.9 percent zinc, 3.2 percent lead, 306 g/t silver, 2.7 g/t gold, 0.5 percent copper, and 45 percent barium sulfate from 228m

Hole BR-35-18 drilled 35m to the SE of BR-25-18 in an area also previously untested intersected two mineralized lenses, the lower one returned: 32m at 2.1 percent zinc, 2.6 percent lead, 220 g/t silver, 2.0 g/t gold, 0.2 percent copper, and 32 percent barium sulfate also from 228m.
