Economic Times reported that Mytrah Energy (India), an arm of London headquartered Mytrah Group has commissioned a 103.5 Kilowatt solar power project for Suretech Hospital and Research Centre, a nursing training institute in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The rooftop solar project is expected to help reduce the hospital’s annual electricity bill, around INR 15 lakh based on the current tariff.

The company said in a statement that “This solar project is based on the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model whereby Suretech has not invested in the installation but will pay the charges based on the electricity consumption.”

As part of the agreement, Mytrah will provide maintenance service for the plant for the next 25 years. The power producer said the project will help Suretech meet its power needs through green energy and reduction cost incurred in electricity consumption.
