Sheikh Zayed Housing approves 250 unit residential project in UAE

Zawya reported that UAE-based Sheikh Zayed Housing Program has given approval for the launch of engineering consultancy tenders for the construction of a 250-unit residential neighborhood at Khor Fakkan in Sharjah’s Eastern Region. The decision came at the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program's board meeting which saw the board members approve 1,000 decisions to support housing, to mark Ramadan and as part of its housing program in 2019. Every housing unit of the residential neighborhood, located in Al Owainat arrea odf Khor Fakkan, will have an estimated area of 360 sq m, with three to four bedrooms each that could be expanded in the future.

The housing project is estimated to cost between AED 800 million to AED 1 billion and is likely to be completed by the end of 2022, it stated.

It added that the winning group will provide the planning, design and supervision services for the project.
