Following the addition of the all-electric Corsa-e and plug-in hybrid Grandland X Hybrid4 to its product range, the Vivaro-e marks the next chapter in Vauxhall’s electrification strategy. Vauxhall will launch the new Vivaro-e next year, the pure battery electric version of its best-selling medium van. The Vauxhall Vivaro-e is based on the group’s highly variable EMP2 platform, which enables the use of conventional as well as electrified powertrains. With the Vivaro-e, customers will have a choice between two battery sizes, depending on their needs. The 50kWh battery provides a range of up to 125 miles, while the 75kWh offers at least 185 miles.

The new electrified version of the successful Vivaro offers no compromises. Customers can still expect the same outstanding practicality and comfort synonymous with the diesel variants, with the latest generation of the Vivaro van proving popular since going on sale earlier this year.
