Dave Steel announces Partnership with Walters Group

Dave Steel Company Inc, a US family owned steel fabrication company that services commercial and industrial projects, announced today that Walters Group, a Canadian fabrication company has completed a significant minority acquisition of ownership of Dave Steel Company, Inc.

Much like Dave Steel Company, Walters Group is a family-owned business with a long history in steel fabrication and construction. With three plants in Ontario, Canada, Walters Group designs, fabricates, and constructs commercial and industrial projects throughout North America. They offer a full range of services from construction engineering and design-assist, to detailing and fabrication, sophisticated coatings, delivery and erection.

Dave Steel Company will continue to operate as a separate entity under the current leadership of Jeffrey Dave, President. Walters Group will have representation on the Dave Steel Company Board of Directors.

Dave Steel Company views this partnership as a strategic alignment that offers benefits for both companies. For Dave Steel Company, Walters Group's experience in steel erection will allow them to round out their service offering to clients by providing supply and install projects using in-house capabilities. The partnership also secures a strong future for the next generations of the business.
