Company Description	An Opportunity to join SAIL as Management Trainee (Technical) SAIL, the largest steel producer in the country and having an annual turnover of around 50,000 Crores, proposes to recruit around 300 Management Trainees (Technical) for its steel plants/ mines.
Job Description	The successful candidates will be offered a consolidated pay of Rs.23,000/- p.m. and other benefits as per Company’s rules during the training and probation period. On successful completion of training and Probation they will be confirmed in the pay scale of E-1 grade w.e.f. their date of joining in the Company (Rs. 10750-4%-16750 under revision w.e.f. 1.1.2007). However, the first increment will be added from their actual date of confirmation in E-1 grade. After confirmation in E1 grade, the CTC would be around Rs.6 lacs per annum.

Required Skills	Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical Electrical Metallurgy Chemical Electronics & Telecommunications Instrumentation Civil Ceramics and Computer Science from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of all years/semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates). For Computer Science discipline, those having recognised Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (3-year course) with minimum 65% marks in the aggregate (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates) are also eligible. Age: Born not earlier than June 1, 1979 (Upper age limit of 30 years is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates). Those domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 1/1/80 to 31/12/89 will be allowed 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.
