Tangsteel increases rebar and wire rod prices

China’s Tangshan Iron & Steel Co Ltd has announced plans to increase the steel price and this is the second times adjustment on price during April.

Tangshan Iron & Steel Co Ltd is boosting the price of its rebar and steel wire rod by CNY 270 per tonne. After the increase, the current price for HRB335 rebar with diameter 16mm to 25mm is about CNY 5,250 per tonne while Q235 high speed steel wire rod with diameter 6.5mm is at around CNY 5,270 per tonne.
