Shaogang environmental project approved

Recently, Guangdong Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group has gained the approval of the important science and technology special project concerning Energy saving, emission reduction and regenerated resources.

The project can be the important breakthrough for steel and metallurgical industry in the sinter and desulphurization technology.

Mr Zhang Yongsheng VP of Shaogang’s said that with the implementation of the new project, Shaogang can save more than 53,000 tonnes of energy and lessen over 6,400 tonnes of sulfur dioxide release.
