Update on Handan Steel EXW prices

It is reported that Hebei based Handan Steel adjusts its EXW prices, on the basis of prices released on June 8th 2008

1. Common Carbon Wire Rod down by CNY 100 per tonne.
Q215 to 235A/B 6.5mm to 12mm common carbon wire rod id quoted at CNY 5840 per tonne
Q215 to 235A/B 6.5 to 12mm high speed wire rod is quoted at CNY 5880 per tonne.

2. Rebar price is down by CNY 150 per tonne.
HRB335 12mm rebar is offered at CNY 5910 per tonne
HRB335 14mm rebar is quoted at CNY 5860 per tonne
HRB335 16 to 25mm rebar is quoted at CNY 5710 per tonne.

3. Common Carbon Medium Plate: unchanged
Low alloy plate up by CNY 180 per tonne
Latest EXW price stands at CNY 7180 per tonne for Q235B 8mm medium plate
Q235B 14mm to 25mm medium plate is quoted at CNY 6700 per tonne

4. Shipbuilding Plate unchanged
Products with thickness of 50mm is up by CNY 50 per tonne
Price is quoted at CNY 7495 per tonne for CCSA 20mm shipbuilding plate.

5. Round Steel down by CNY 150 per tonne
Q215 to 235 16 mm to 25mm round steel is priced at CNY 5750 per tonne.
