Shougang scrap bases put into service

It is reported that Shougang's scrap bases in Fengtai and Fangshan districts of Beijing have been put into service lately as its production transfer from long steel to steel plate and feed its plants in different places.

The Fengtai base funded by Material Provisioning Company of Beijing Shougang Company Limited and Beijing Shiji Dirun Wastrel Reclaim Company Limited with coverage of 26,000 square meter including three districts for heavy scrap, briquetting and separation is able to reserve 20,000 tonnes of cargo and processing 150,000 tonnes of scrap.

The Fangshan base is set up by the Material Provisioning Company and Beijing Shuangdongsheng Trading Company. It can contain 50,000 tonnes of goods and has processing capacity of over 300,000 tonnes a year. Due to good communication, the rapid transferring of scrap can be ensured.
