It is reported that in October China has export 9896.26 tonnes of pig iron, 221.475 tonnes lower than September 10th117.735 tonnes with decrease rate down by 2.189% MoM. There were 4,638.86 tonnes and 5,257.3 tonnes of total exported pig iron shipped to South Korea and Japan mainly by exporters based in Jilin and Shandong who delivered 6,596.26 tonnes and 3,300 tonnes respectively.
In the first ten months, the total of pig iron export reached 244,642.55 tonnes sliding 57.91% YoY from 581,291.85 tonnes churned out in the same period of last year.
China has imported 4,856.485t of pig iron in Oct, decreasing 4,597.499 tonnes from September 9,453.984 tonnes with the rate down 48.63% MoM in which 44 tonnes came from Israel, 2,620.445 tonnes from North Korea, 2,092 tonnes from South Africa and 100.04 tonnes from Japan with importers based in Tianjin bringing 792 tonnes, Jilin 2,221.245 tonnes, Jiangsu 100.04 tonnes Guangdong 44 tonnes, Ningxia 1,100 tonnes and Liaoning 599.2 tonnes.
