Gladstone Pacific Nickel appointed new board member

Gladstone Pacific Nickel Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Clive Palmer to the board of directors. He was a director of the company from December 11th 2007 until July 30th 2008, when he resigned to avoid potential conflicts of interest given a proposed merger of GPN with Resource Development International Limited, a company controlled by Dr Professor Palmer.

The re appointment of Dr Palmer to the GPN Board was made possible after the lapse of the Scheme Implementation Agreement, regarding the proposed merger with RDI, on March 31st 2009.

Dr Clive Palmer has been appointed in a non executive capacity to join current directors Mr James Henderson, Mr Domenic Martino, Mr Benjamin Hill and MD Mr John Downie on the GPN Board.
