Algerian oil company Sonatrach announced a discovery of new oil in the basin of Illizi, southwest Algeria.
Sonatrach in a statement said that the new discovery came during a process of drilling at Tinrhert in Illizi. It added that according surveys indicated at huge quantities of oil.
This discovery, made by Sonatrach is the seventh since the beginning of the year including 2 with its own resources and the 5 others in cooperation with their foreign partners.
