The Hindu reported that Mr A Chandrababu assumed office as GM in charge of the Boiler Auxiliaries Plant of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Ranipet on last Tuesday. He took over from Mr AV Krishnan ED, who has been transferred to BHEL Tiruchi.
A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Mr Chandrababu started his career in the Ancillary Development Division of High Pressure Boiler Plant at Tiruchi, involving himself with indigenous equipment for the initial set up of Seamless Steel Tube Plant, procurement of raw materials, tools & capital equipment. He was also instrumental in the production and maintenance of Cold Mill of SSTP. Prior to joining BHEL Ranipet, he served as general manager and headed the outsourcing division of BHEL, Tiruchi.
