SteelBenchmarker reported that US HRB spot price for June 22nd 2009 soared by 10.9% to USD 446 per tonne, for the third consecutive time. The Western European HRB price surged by 5.6% to USD 491, ex works, after slipping last time. The Chinese HRB ex works price rose by 4.2% to USD 447 per tonne, for the fifth consecutive time.
