INTERFAX-CHINA reported that Hanzhong Hanjiang Iron and Steel Group, based in Shaanxi Province, recently began construction work on its new steelmaking project that has a designed annual crude steel production capacity of around 5 million tonnes and is expected to start production by the end of 2010.
