Drydocks World announced plans to expand its Middle East operations with a representative office in Abu Dhabi.
The office was inaugurated on the sidelines of the Middle East Workboats Exhibition which recently took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre where Drydocks World showcased its expertise in handling a range of workboats including maintenance support vessels, platform supply vessels, anchor handling tugs and offshore supply tugs.
Mr Hamed Mohammed Bin Lahej executive vice chairman of Drydocks World and regional CEO for the Middle East said that “The UAE capital offers great potential for our line of business. Setting up a representative office in Abu Dhabi will help address the increasing needs of the rapidly developing city and the premier oil and marine industry based there.”
The office will be headed by Mr Adel Al Rustamani who was present at the opening along with other senior Drydocks World officials.
