Projects Today reported that BHEL has bagged an order worth INR 205 crore from Petroleum Development Oman for a gas turbine generating unit of 126 MW each.
The scope of work involves supply and supervision of erection and commissioning of a 126 MW gas turbine generating unit for a power project being set up by PDO at Qarn Alam.
For the contract, the gas turbines and associated equipment are expected to be manufactured and supplied by BHEL’s Hyderabad plant and the state of the art Control System is likely to be manufactured and supplied by BHEL’s Electronics Division, Bangalore in Karnataka.
