
Mexican copper output falls in August
Reuters reported that Mexican copper output fell to 18,465 tonnes in August down 14.4%YoY from the same month a year earlier.
The National Statistics Institute said that silver production increased to 257,671 kilogram in August up 23.5%YoY.
Copper output in Mexico has been hit by a more than 2 year long strike at the Cananea mine owned by Grupo Mexico.
