Heidelberg Cement India reported a net profit of INR 27.05 crore for the quarter ended September 30th 2009, while it had a net profit of INR 10.05 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Heidelberg Cement India in a filing to the BSE said that “The results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 include the figures of Indorama Cement and Heidelberg Cement India that have been amalgamated into and with the company. The scheme was operative with effect from April 1st 2008 therefore, the results for the period are not comparable.”
The statement added that its total income stood at INR 216.16 crore in the latest quarter ended September, however it had a total income of INR 136.68 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
