Mr Anthony Tropeano retired and resigned as CEO of FATA SpA

Aluminium Today reported that after 38 successful years in the ferrous and non ferrous industries, Mr Anthony Tropeano retired and resigned as CEO of FATA SpA in January 2018. Mr Tropeano joined FATA in 1994, and since then he held a number of executive positions within the company. For many years he successfully led FATA’s two operating divisions, FATA Hunter and FATA EPC, as Chief Executive Officer. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of FATA SpA in 2016.

Prior to joining FATA, Mr Tropeano was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Italimpianti of America, Inc Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mr Tropeano was educated at the Jersey City State College and at the Farleigh Dickinson University where he received his MBA. During his career he has belonged to various associations including TMS, ECCA, AISE, NCCA and he was on the Board of Directors and one of the funding members of EU Metallurgy, an Association located in Brussels.

In February 2018 Mr Tropeano set up his own company, TT Consulting Inc., providing management consulting services for metals, mining and contracting sectors.
